If you check out the Ram configuration tool, you’ll quickly find out that the Tungsten trim with all the options will cost an eye-popping $96,470.
That’s a half-ton pickup with a price just shy of $100,000. A new Ram 1500 sans Hemi is coming soon for the 2025 model year.
Huge Prices are Old Hat for Ram
It’s not the first time that a Ram truck has boasted a huge price tag. The off-road TRX trim with its supercharged Hellcat engine comes to mind. However, the difference here is that the Tungsten isn’t really a specialty or high-performance truck. It’s simply a new optioned-out flagship trim with a ton of luxury and modern tech. It includes features like massaging front seats and various driver assistance systems.
The Tungsten trim will also come with 22-inch wheels and a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six that makes 540 horsepower. Compared to something like the Ram 3500 for sale, you’re not getting more utility or performance, you’re mostly getting niceties.
Currently, the other domestic full-size trucks have base models with a starting price under $40,000. However, you can load up with options on the Ford F-150 and GMC Sierra to make them cost over $90,000 as well. On the other hand, the most affordable 2025 Ram 1500 model starts at $42,270.
Ram Tungsten Boasts the Fanciest Interior
Perhaps Ram is banking on the demographic of truck owner who wants a super fancy interior. If that’s the case, then it’s hard to beat what you’ll find in the Tungsten. Ram already sets the standard for luxury truck interiors, but the Tungsten takes it a step further. It starts by including Ram’s new Hands-Free Drive Assist system that includes autonomous parallel and perpendicular park assist.
The Ram Tungsten features the ability to use an Android or Apple smartphone as a digital key. It also features an incredibly opulent interior. Driver and passenger seats are 24-way adjustable. They are also heated, ventilated, and upholstered in posh quilted leather with bronze contrast stitching.
Almost every soft-touch surface in the Ram 1500 Tungsten is swathed in leather, including items like the door panels, center console lid, and steering wheel. Even the visors, headliner, and A-B pillars are covered in suede. If that isn’t fancy enough, crystal and diamond accents are everywhere inside the truck.
