Last year Mopar announced a new limited-production Dodge Durango that would feature a special-edition package filled with factory-backed performance bits and accessories from the Mopar Custom Shop. It seems like forever since they made the announcement, but the day is finally here.
The Mopar “22 Dodge Durango Limited Edition is set to arrive, but you need to act fast if you want one because Dodge is only building 250 of them. Don’t wait to get to your Dodge Dealer and get yours before it’s too late.
A Celebration of 85 Years of Mopar
2022 will mark the 85th birthday of Mopar, and they are celebrating by debuting the special edition 2022 Dodge Durango. There will only be 250 of these SUVs. 200 will go to the United States, and 50 will go to Canada. People will be able to get their first glimpse of the new Durango in early November at the SEMA show. The Mopar booth will proudly be showing it off.
The Power Is Something to Experience
Power for the Mopar “22 Dodge Durango comes from their 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 gas engine. Under the hood of the Durango, it delivers 360 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission smoothly shifts through the gears to quickly and efficiently get you up to speed.
The Durango has a reputation for power and performance, and this is only enhanced with the Mopar “22 Limited Edition. A retuned version of the SRT performance exhaust will still provide that deep rumble drivers love about a Dodge. The Mopar “22 also comes with the Tow N Go Package with SRT active damping suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential. The standard Performance Pages feature digital timers and gauges that add to the driving experience.
The Exterior Is Something to Look At
Dodge will offer the Mopar “22 Dodge Durango in either DB Black or White Knuckle exterior colors. It will stand out from other Durangos at a Dodge dealer with its striking blue Mopar stripe that will run up the driver’s side from the front fascia over the hood to the rear fascia. It will also have a distinct Mopar Blue front grille badge and Mopar Blue Brembo brake calipers.
An Interior Design for Drivers Who Love Time Behind the Wheel
As soon as you sit inside the new Limited Edition Durango, you’ll notice the differences. One of the first things that you’ll see is the Mopar “22 badge on the instrument panel with a serial number. It also has distinctive Mopar pedals and Mopar all-weather floor mats. The front seats come covered in a combination of leather and suede with a two-tone embroidered Mopar logo on the back of the seats. The Mopar Blue is also showcased in the accent stitching on the seats and along the instrument panel, the doors, and on the center console.
The Mopar “22 Dodge Durango won’t last long on dealership lots. You can find out more by contacting your local Dodge dealer so you don’t miss out.
