The powertrain offered to start with will be a 3.0-liter 268 horsepower turbodiesel V6 and a 3.0-liter 329 horsepower TFSI supercharged gasoline V6 engine. These two awesome engines will be attached to an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic that has the new Quattro self-locking center differential. This new system is lighter and more compact than previous models and gives the vehicle the ability to transfer seventy percent of the torque to the front axle or 85 percent to the rear as needed. The e-tron has not yet been approved for the US market, but should be soon.
With a lighter weight and a great pair of new engines the Q7 shows up starting off its new generation in a great way, giving shoppers a choice that allows them the right vehicle with a much better performance than ever before.
